You can find small house plans, or great small appliances for your small home here!

A tiny house is one thing, a tiny bathroom is another beast all together. I have to admit this will probably be the biggest challenge for us designing a tiny house. I love having double sinks, drawers for makeup and my soaking tub. So anything that saves space in a bathroom is on my list of must haves, and this sink in a drawer is amazing. It would be perfect for a bathroom that is located next to a stair case or behind a pantry where you may have unused dead space in a wall.

I can imagine designing an entire bathroom based around this sink, with drawers in a similar style for products, towels, toilet paper, etc all nicely tucked away in the wall.

No word on price or availability yet, but I imagine a good plumber and carpenter could create a similar sink from pretty much any design currently on the market.

Spiral Radiator for Tiny HouseWe haven’t decided what type of heating system to install in our tiny house, it will depend on where we buy land and of course the style of the home. Having grown up in older homes with steam radiators I have always loved the warmth they provide and most of the time even loved the designs. They seemed to be part of the home rather than something that was designed as a last thought. Unfortunately radiators tend to be rather large and in a tiny house, space is precious.

So when I saw this design for a radiator, my jaw dropped, it’s a piece of art AND tiny. Fabulous.

Calorisfero gives the space a new meaning, by furnishing it with a warm personality. Steel and wood hug each other in an eternal sphere, melting matter and soul endlessly. A new way of thinking about domestic warm: simply at man’s service and his emotions.

This radiator was designed by Studio MID for Deltacalor, I’m not sure it will be available in the US, but I think I’d be willing to fly to Italy to get it. This is truly a piece that you could design your home around.

Hi everyone, my family and I are currently designing a tiny house and trying to mesh everything together from the floor plan and outside design to the interior design. Going from a home where you don’t have to worry about the size of your sofa or the new piece of art you found while traveling, to a home where every square inch has to have a purpose and there is very little storage, is quite challenging. I’m starting this blog because I am loving the interior design process and all of the options for furniture, built-ins, appliances and accessories that will help us get rid of 2 homes full of furniture and our very, very scary garage. I want to share all of the cool options that are available that may just decide the entire interior of your tiny home whether it’s 200 sq ft or 800 sq ft.

I don’t believe a tiny house has to be bland, so I hope you’ll join me on this journey and feel free to suggest products that you’ve found!

avatar My mission is to build a tiny house that might be small on space, but BIG on design. Form, function, and artistic detail are important for every piece of furniture that goes into a tiny house, so I'm scouring for the best designs, and sharing with you!
