Mirrored Radiator for Small House PlansHaving grown up in old Victorian houses, I love the heat given off from radiators, but they can take up a lot of space. I introduced you to a more ornamental radiator before that I loved for the design, but the Decor Radiator from Deltacalor does double duty as a mirror making it perfect for small bathrooms or even a bedroom.

Finding products that make your small house plan work, while also providing another use, is critical to saving space. The Decor Radiator comes with options for holding towels, can blend into any decor and even resists steam! No more waiting for the mirror to clear before you start preparing for your day.

Stairs That fit In A ClosetStairs often take up a lot of space, so I love finding designs that either make the space feel more open, allow for storage in the “dead” space, or actually take up a very small footprint.

These stairs, designed to fit in the space of a closet, are very unique. I love the lines of the angles and the wood grain. I don’t think the design would work with carpet. I’m not sure how safe they would be with small children, or adults that are balance challenged like myself (I trip going UP normal steps!), so I would probably need to see them in action before making a final decision on using them permanently in my own small home design.
