All in one washer dry unit

Finally a washer/dryer that can fit into any small apartment, house, condo or even an office if needed! This all in one unit will wash your clothes and then go right into a dry cycle so you never have to load and reload your wash again!

Popular in Europe, the all in one washer dryer combo needs no venting and uses a 110v outletĀ  so it’s perfect for a tiny house or apartment where you would normally not be able to have your own laundry system.

The front load unit is an energy saver as well, and is super duper quiet. Imagine loading your laundry in the morning and having it done when you come home from work, it’s the American dream! (Okay it won’t fold itself, sorry.)

Okay, I think we all know I’m obsessed with stair design, especially in a tiny house. Look, ladders are cute, and they take up no space at all, but some of us just aren’t coordinated enough to walk up normal stairs without tripping (yes I said UP stairs, let’s not discuss falling down the steps.) So, staircases that do double duty and open small spaces are always on my radar. I love these loft stairs because they include storage (score!), they take up minimal space (yay!), they lead to a tiny bedroom (huzzah!), and the design even leaves space for a bathroom, closet, storage, or some other handy space underneath (nirvana!) You can see more of the studio here.

Interior Design for Small Home OfficeIntroducing a new feature here at ATinyHouse.com where we put together an entire room or area for you so you can see how furniture items can work together in your small home or apartment. Up first is a modern tiny office, and I have to confess that several of these pieces are actually going to make up our new office that is being built next month. I’ll definitely show you updates, but for now, let’s talk! First up are Eames inspired chairs with an Eiffel base, aren’t they adorable? Of course the vintage library card catalog is essential to hold all those small items. It’s perfect for a studio apartment or tiny house to store kitchen supplies, office supplies, even bottles of wine. It really is an all purpose piece that will fit almost anywhere, and being able to label the drawers is wonderful for a small space. The desk I’ve chosen because it can do double duty as a dining table and the x pattern legs give it a bit more interest than standard table legs. The copper chandelier gives the space a hint of romance without being overpowering, and the copper fireplace sets the mood for the entire room. Maybe a fireplace is a bit much in a tiny office, but if the space has to function as a dining area as well, then it adds a bit of homeliness with the added addition of being a green heating source!

This gorgeous little Luxembourg folding table is perfect for the living room, bedroom, office, wherever you need a little table for extra space. At only 10 lbs it’s easy to move. The antiqued rust top gives the table a rustic feeling that will assimilate into most decors. It’s not often you come across a piece of furniture that be considered both modern and vintage.

Furniture that does double duty is always a plus in a small house. Luckily for you this little table can actually serve several functions in your living space. The wood cube acts as a side table with storage, and with the added carrying handle cutouts on the sides it can easily be moved to function as extra seating for guests. Pair it up with another cube for a functioning coffee table, or even as table seating. The tapered design gives it some architectural interest as well!
