More companies are focusing on small and tiny homes today, so here are a few that have floor plans available online to start your search.

Small House Plans - A partnership between Misty Weaver and Sarah Ascolese that focuses on small homes designed specifically for families. Ranging in size from 500-1500 sq ft with eco options to help lower energy costs.

TumbleWeed Company - Started by Jay Shafer, TumbleWeed Houses now offers about 20 tiny house plans ranging from 117 sq ft to just over 700 sq ft.

Ross Chapin Builders - Famous for his “Third Street Cottages” pocket neighborhood, he now offers plans for the houses he has already built and proven to be viable for individuals but also complete communities.

Cusato Cottages - Cusato is interesting because the designs came about after Katrina hit New Orleans and the surrounding areas and quick affordable housing needed to be implemented. It’s nice to see that someone recognizes there is a need for this type of housing even without a natural disaster and new plans are being created.
